William T Havens

William T. Havens, 70, of Kirkland, Washington passed away on February 18, 2026 at his home.

He was born on October 6, 1955 and grew up in Hammond, Indiana. He attended Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. He was a member of Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity. He participated in the Little 500 bike race, held every spring on campus and was an avid fan of Indiana Hoosiers sports programs. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.He sat for and passed the certification for Certified Public Accountant. He  also attended Northwestern University, Evanston, IL and received a Master’s degree in Marketing. In addition to Indiana sports, he was also a big auto race fan, following Indy and Formula 1 racing circuits. He shared his love of sports with his college friends with whom he had over a 50 year friendship and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Doris Havens.  Arrangements were handled by the Scanlin Funeral Home, Seattle Washington. Services and burial will be private. Memorials in his name may be made to Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana.
