Timothy J O'Donnell

Timothy J. O’Donnell (63) of Tacoma, WA passed away on October 17, 2022, surrounded by family and friends after a challenging battle with cancer.  Tim fought the good fight, he finished the race, and he kept the faith.

Tim was born in September of 1959 in Seattle, WA to Jeanne and Martin O’Donnell.   He and his twin brother were the youngest of seven children.

Tim is preceded in death by his mother and father, brothers Mike, Dennis, and his sister Marianne “Molly”.  Tim is survived by his twin brother Sean, brothers Kevin and Patrick, nieces Molly and McKenna, nephews Dillon and Derek, brother-in-law Henry Berrey, brother-in-law Stephen Flick and his loving wife of 28 years Lisa O’Donnell.

Tim was successful at work and was technically minded and could design and build almost anything, but his greatest success was how he was open about his life challenges, extending himself to others thus helping others and himself grow on this journey we call life.  Tim loved animals, hiking, biking, racing cars, singing, and working out at the gym.  He will be greatly missed and remembered for his quick wit, humbleness, his smile, and his ability to find humor in all things.  May we find peace knowing his ordeal is over and he is free.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 101 E. 38th Street, Tacoma, WA 98404 on November 12, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., immediately followed by a reception and celebration of life.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
