In 1998 her first grandchild, Brandon Taylor, was born to Ehren Taylor. In 2000, her second grandchild, Kaylee Taylor was born, also to Ehren.
As an adult, she stayed in the medical field, becoming an optical assistant and then becoming an optician. She also worked as a medical records clerk at Churchill County Hospital in Fallon, NV and Greater Lakes Mental Hospital in Lakewood.

Oftentimes visiting Reno to enjoy the Italian Festival, with her son Steven, and any other family or friends who would travel to Reno for the festival. Teri loved to cook traditional Italian dishes and comfort food for anyone and everyone she could. Every year she would bake Christmas cookies to share her Christmas spirit.
