Our amazing Pamela Jean Arko, age 54, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 19, 2023, in Seattle, WA. She was born to Larry and Sandy Arko in Bellingham, WA on June 9, 1969. Pam graduated from Ferndale High School in 1987. For the last 18 years she had been dedicated to working for Pacific Growers, excelling as a sales representative. To say that she was good at her job is an understatement. She took immense pride in her work, and it showed. She was well-respected and loved by her co-workers, who she considered part of her family, and her many satisfied customers.
She married Brad, her best friend of 21+ years on December 13, 2002. Pam had the biggest heart and was always there for anyone that needed her. She was always the one taking care of everyone. She was the party planner, the host, the florist, the cook, and the glue that kept her family together. Pam was the world’s best grandma. She was so proud of her grandchildren, and if she wasn’t with them, she would be showing everyone pictures and telling stories about them. When she was not taking care of others Pam enjoyed watching the Seahawks, going to the casino, listening to Brad play the guitar at night, playing (and winning!) card games, and having lunch with Chuck and Dan. One thing she always talked about was the lifetime of memories she had with Kim, her childhood best friend.
Pam is survived by her husband Brad, Stepson Rob (Danielle) 3 Grandkids (Brayden, Kallie, and Hudson). Stepmom Renee, Brothers Jason, and Chad. Many Nieces and Nephews who she loved as if they were her own (Cassey (Eric), Dylan (Sarah), Baliey, Hailey (Chris), Haiden, Draden) as well as great nieces and nephews (Henry, Waylon, Audrey, Charlee, Jalen, Jaxon, and Frankie) as well as many friends and family members.
Pam is preceded in death by her parents, Larry, and Sandy, as well as her grandparents and uncle.
A celebration of life service will be held at the Ferndale Event center (5715 Barrett Rd, Ferndale, WA 98248) November 18th, 2023 @2:00PM.
