With profound sadness in our hearts, we announce that our son, brother and friend, Nazar Kolesnyk passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 26th. He is survived by his parents Nataliia and Pavlo, sister Olga, niece Natalia and nephew Michail. Nazar was born in Vinnitsya, Ukraine and immigrated to the country in 2002. He was a brave heart who immigrated alone to establish a new life and successfully did so for many years. Nazar was always risky and driven. He started his immigration journey in NYC and later moved to Washington. He travelled many states, worked hard different jobs, spoke 3 languages and had an exquisite taste of music, art and cuisine.
Nazar battled with addiction and depression for several years, but always strived to lighten up the lives around him.
Donations in Nazar's memory are welcome and will go towards his funeral expenses, support for his extended family stuck in Ukranian crisis and to local organizations who are working to educate and help people with substance abuse.
A funeral service (viewing) will be held at First Call Plus Crematory on Friday, May 6, at 5 pm. 6942 S 196th St, Kent, WA 98032.
