Nancy Ann Day of Tumwater, WA passed away on December 3, 2021, at the age of 63.
She was a lover of all things art and nature. She had an eye for detail, with history and love of painting, illustration, and propwork design. She was one kind of heart, golden of mind, with a beautiful soul.
Early years she studied art and real life drawing, gradually working into still life and fantasy painting. Her skills were a favorite among many. Later on she also studied computers, gaining a title computer technician as well. Her love of art was rekindled around 2013, when she begun prop making, creating replicas of Little Shop of Horrors Audrey II. Many across the world have enjoyed her work, admiring her for the extent of thought and work she put into each piece. It began opening up avenues for art again, where she had little time in prior years. She adored gardening, always feeling at home amongst the greenery and neighboring forests. One could say she was a free spirit in her own way. She loved gentle walks through local parks/beach coasts, spending time with her loved ones, playing with her kitties, and an avid fan of Halloween and all it's spooky wonder.
Nancy survived by her children Mary Day, Katie Boyd, Patricia Longmire, her partner William Smith and her brothers Michael Day and Robert Day.
Celebration of life to be held around Spring 2022.
