Mitchell Lee Weindorff

Mitchell Lee Weindorff departed this life after several years of illness, on Tuesday August 10th, 2021 in Everett, WA.  He was 62 years old.

Mitchell was born on March 26th, 1959 in Houston, Texas to Bernie Dale and Norman Lee Weindorff.  In 1976 he joined the United States Coast Guard Group and was a proud crew member on the Polar Sea icebreaker.  After completing his term with the Coast Guard, he attended Rice University and earned his degree in Aviation Technical studies.  Mitchell started his 30 year career in aviation maintenance in Texas then moved to Washington working at Sea Tac airport and later at the Paine Field airport in Everett.

Mitchell was a loving husband, step dad, and grand father.  He loved each moment as Papa to his three grand daughters. Mitchell enjoyed fishing, cooking, astronomy, and most of all telling jokes while hanging out with family and friends.

Mitchell is survived by his wife Anita, his brother Phillip (wife Sharla Weindorff), his stepson Daniel (wife Hollie Veach), and his three grand children Eva, Naomi, and Uma Veach.

Funeral/Memorial service will be held at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA at 2:00 on May 5th, 2022.
