Michael Douglas Blair, age 73, of Fircrest, WA, passed away on September 3, 2025.
Mike was born on August 1, 1952, in Ithaca, Michigan to Ray and Anna Blair. Mike met his wife, Bonnie, in San Franciso, CA where they started their life together before moving to Fircrest, WA. For over 30 years, Mike devoted his career to treating cancer patients as a Medical Dosimetrist at Tacoma Radiation Oncology Center. He was active in the community coaching kids’ sports teams, volunteering at community events and supporting Tacoma’s Relay for Life. Those who knew him will remember his steady presence, witty one-liners, and devotion to his family.
A hobby woodworker and Seattle sports fan, Mike found joy in creating things with his hands and cheering on his favorite teams.
Mike was a proud father to Kevin (Aviva), Kaitlyn (Richard), and Kellie (Brad), and a beloved grandfather to Lyla, Elora, Addison, and Lainey. Mike is also survived by his brother, Brad, and his sister, Sheila. He was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife, Bonnie, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and memories
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 17 from 1-4pm at Chalet Bowl. Family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and honor the life of a man who meant so much to so many.
