Marshall Leroy Dye, 25, of Seattle, Washington, passed away on November 30th, 2021.

Marshall was born June 9th, 1996, in Torrance, California to Catherine Kranes and Mart Dye Jr. He graduated with a diploma from Lake Stevens High School, Lake Stevens, Washington. He continued his education with Shoreline Community College, Shoreline, Washington. He was known for being a remarkable athlete on the college soccer team. Marshall had a diverse career history, holding jobs as a meter inspector and an interior/exterior painter. Marshall was working towards graduating from The Diver’s Institute of Technology, class 106-21. He was very eager to get his foot in the door within the diving industry. Marshall loved playing soccer, drawing, writing, picking up books from the local library, and in his younger days, riding and working on dirtbikes. Marshall can be remembered for always making others laugh with his great sense of humor. You could always find Marshall with a book, as he was looking to expand his knowledge in all walks of life. He was a protector and a defender of his family and his beliefs.

A memorial will be held by The Diver’s Institute of Technology, Class 106-21 on December 27th, 2021. Marshall’s ashes will be buried in the Puget Sound, an inlet of the Pacific Ocean, during one of the class’ deep dives.
