John S Brongil

John S. Brongil, 63, of Tacoma, WA passed away on March 19th, 2026.

Born on March 24th, 1962 in Tacoma, WA, he was the beloved son of John and Pauline Brongil. He grew up in Tacoma and is a graduate of Lincoln High School. John was known for his sharp wit, strong personality, deep loyalty, and pride in his children.

A devoted father, John was the kind of man who knew how to work hard and play harder. He spent 34 years working at the United States Post Office, where he was respected for his reliability, work ethic, and outgoing personality. Outside of work, he enjoyed all things cars: classic cars, car shows, fixing cars, painting cars, everything. In addition, he found joy in his friendships, his Polish heritage, traveling and most of all found his greatest joy in family.

He is survived by his sons Ryan and Jacob, his only daughter Kelsey, and his two grandsons Rylan and Jaxon. 

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 28th, 2026 from 12:30-4:30pm at South Tacoma Eagles 7037 S Pine St, Tacoma, WA.
