Jerry Linkhart was born the youngest of six children to Richard and Vernetta Linkhart, who preceded him. He is survived by five siblings, along with many nieces and nephews whom he regarded as his children, some with children of their own. Jerry graduated from Tigard High School in 1984. After high school, he attended Portland Community College and Portland State University studying Theatre Arts. He then enlisted in the US Air Force as a firefighter from 1990 to 1994, earning many commendations, and serving around the world. After separating from the Air Force, Jerry worked in fire suppression, and used his experience in carpentry to restore houses while completing his Bachelor's Degree at PSU. He loved his family, dogs, and nautical antiquities.
Services will be at Willamette National Cemetery on December 17 at 2:30 pm.
Goodnight, Kiddo.
