Jerry Walter Cole, Jr. passed away Saturday, February 26th at home in the presence of his family. Jerry was a self-deemed family man and considered his family his greatest accomplishment in life. He is survived by his wife Tracey, children Andrew, Ashley, Brenna, Matt, and Alex, daughter-in-law Beth, son-in-law Wes, and granddaughters Brooke and Allison. Jerry was born in Bremerton, WA to Jerry Cole Sr. (who preceded him in death) and Gail Cole, has two loving sisters Lori and Susan, along with two bonus parents Alma and John. He was loyal to a fault and leaves behind many people who love him.
Jerry was a proud Navy veteran who after the military, joined the Port of Seattle and spent 25 years developing his electronics knowledge. He was most recently the CCTV foreman for SeaTac Airport and though he hated his commute, he loved his job. Jerry enjoyed life-long friendships and an active, successful career. He was an avid collector of a variety of musical instruments and classic cars. Jerrys technical knowledge rolled into the care he took for his beloved Mercedes-Benz’. A Mr. Fix-it through and through, the adage “If Dad Can’t Fix It, No One Can” was probably written with him in mind. His sense of humor, tales of the good old days in the Navy, snarky comments, and all-around dad persona brought a smile to everyone who knew him. Jerry brought his own brand of comedy to every situation, and it will truly be missed.
