This may 8ths, of 2022, James (Sonny) Tucker took his final breath surrounded by his loved ones. The sun rose and the world welcomed him on July 9,1937, a day the world became a little brighter. he lived a full and warm life, filled with joy. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
Jim enjoyed many years in the U.S. Army, he shared great memories of his time in Panama and Germany which was his favorite. Following his military career, he went on to become a care provider and touched many lives. It was while working in that profession that he met his wife. Jim served faithfully in his church and blessed many with his gifts and talents of singing, acting, teaching, and sharing his love with everyone he came into contact.
He is predeceased by wives Marjorie and Carol (Crader). Also waiting to welcome him were his parents Wesley and Easter Tucker and four of his brothers Donald, Larry Michael, and Chuck.
Jim is survived by his wife of 32 years Cheryl (Bench, Dugan), son Wesley (Julianna), daughters Alice and Dana. Brother Tony, Stepchildren: Tony (Mark), Tawny, Sean (Isabel). Grandchildren: Hazel, Jade, Christopher, James, Ana, Alayanna, Summer and 5 great grandchildren.
We think about you always, we talk about you daily. You will never be forgotten. We hold you close within our hearts and there yo will remain to walk and guide us through our lives until we meet again.
