Gabriel Thomas Mondok

Gabriel Thomas Mondok was born on May 22, 1996. His birth brought love and light to his mother Brandi Nef. Gabe was born with a severe case of asthma and battled it all throughout his life. Sadly, he lost his battle with Asthma on March 20, 2021 after suffering from a severe asthma attack, which resulted in cardiac arrest at the young age of 24.

Gabe had battled with asthma from birth. He never let it stop him from doing what he loved. As the oldest of three children, Gabe was always a protectful big brother, and loved them both fiercely. Gabe loved to spend time with his friends, and everywhere that he went people were drawn to him. He loved sports and being in the game. He went to Bonneville High School where he was on the football team and received a scholarship to Dixie University in Saint George, Utah. He also played for The Idaho Falls Phoenix, a Semi-pro team.   He worked at Lucy’s Pizza in Idaho Falls for several years. Later he moved to Mt. Vernon Washington where he met his beautiful and loving girlfriend Cassidy. He worked his dream job at Smokey Point Productions and at PRC Arlington.

Gabe truly had a heart of gold and continued his giving nature even in passing. He was a donor and because of his generous gift, he saved five people’s lives.

Gabe is now in the loving arms of his Heavenly Father and his great grandpa Thomas Bryant.

Gabe was survived by his mother Brandi Nef, stepdad Jordan Nef, girlfriend Cassidy Rivas, sister Tia Mondok, brother Desmond Mondok, dad Elan Mondok, and grandparents including: John and Amber Tedford, Darrell Drummond, Linda Ball, Linda Nef, David and Arlene Nef, great grandmas Janet Bryant and Betty Clark, and so many more friends and family.

We will be holding a Celebration of Life on April 5, 2021
