Faith’s family settled in Olympia Washington in 1955. She attended Yelm & North Thurston school districts and graduated from North Thurston High School in 1967. Faith trained as a nurse’s aide and was employed at Panorama City for several years before retiring due to disability.

They enjoy making them to this day and will continue to pass on the recipes to their future generations. Family members also fondly remember her special baked beans and macaroni salad.
Faith loved to collect porcelain dolls, carousels, refrigerator magnets, and ‘big gulp’ cups from truck stop mini-marts. She traveled several summers throughout the United States with her husband James Smith who was a long-haul trucker. She would tell tales of their excursions and was always excited to talk about the really good food they found along the way.
