David Townzen Obituary

David passed away on Tuesday, September 15th at the UW Medical Center in Seattle from heart-related issues. He is survived by his family, Shannon Kenny (sister), Otelia Kenny (niece), Christopher Kenny Jr. (nephew), Maelynne Kenny (niece), and Shannon Hilliard (sister-by-choice), 3 uncles, 2 aunts, and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Townzen.
David grew up in Federal Way, Washington with his sister Shannon and mother, Linda Townzen (passed). He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and later would go on to further his education. His chosen career path was as an IT Specialist and Network Engineer. It was a career that earned him many friendships, great stories, and vast knowledge. He was the first person you could count on to make you laugh. He loved deeply, cherished those he cared about, and made sure they knew it all the time. Even though he battled many health issues in the last few years, he never let it keep him down. His laughter could be heard nearly every day from any part of the house as he entertained his caregivers and family with a variety of stories about his family and randomness. He had a huge heart that overflowed with love, loyalty, and respect.
As a family, we ask that you please celebrate him with your own stories and laughter. He would want us all to have a party, hold each other tight, and share the love.
