Clayton Miller Obituary

Clayton E. Miller, (69), of Kent, Washington, passed away peacefully in his home on November 23, 2023.

Clay was born to Charles and Phyllis Miller, on April 1, 1954, in New Haven, Connecticut. He was a member of the Drum & Bugle Band performing all over the Northeast. Clay, a talented mechanic, graduated from Eli Whitney Technical High School before joining the US Air Force serving as a Nuclear Weapons Specialist.  After he left the military, Clay worked in the service, construction, and packaging industries. He enjoyed his free time golfing and spending time with his family.

Clay is survived by his two children, Aaron and Danielle along with his grandchildren Kennady and Karter. He is also survived by his brothers Charlie (Beth) Phil (Bev), and their families. Clay is also survived by his former wives, Lorie McDiarmid and Curry Puddington. Clay was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Phyllis, and his daughter Angeleena.

Clay was a passionate sports fan, supporting the New York Giants and Seattle Mariners. You could always see him wearing apparel of his favorite teams. He loved all things fast, whether attending car shows, races, or getting behind the wheel himself, he always had the need for speed. Any other free time was spent positively impacting his grand kids. He will be truly missed.

Committal Service and Interment to take place at Tahoma National Cemetery on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 11:30am. 

The family invites you to join them immediately following the Committal Service at Farrelli's Pizza in Maple Valley, as we gather to honor Clay's life and legacy with cherished memories, laughter and his favorite lunch:  pizza .  We hope to see you there as we remember Clay.

Arrival time for service at Tahoma is 11:15am.  Tahoma National Cemetery is located at 18600 SE 240th Street Kent, WA  98042.
