Arturo Dorado Obituary

On March 12th, 2024 Arturo Robles Dorado passed away unexpectedly at the age of 63, in Seattle, WA.

Born on October 21, 1960 in Los Angeles, California to Carmen and Antonio Dorado, he spent most of his life in the Monterey Area.

In 1980, he met the love of his life, Juanita, and together they would go on to have four children. In the fall of 1992, seeking new adventures and opportunity, Arturo and his young family settled in Tacoma, WA. A lover of rock and grunge, he took advantage of the rich music scene the area had to offer; and he never passed up an opportunity to add to his impressive record collection. Arturo was fluent in Spanish and would often utilize his skill to act as interpreter, loved to cook, especially breakfast for his kids. He will be missed beyond measure.

Arturo is preceded in death by his late wife, Juanita Dorado (nee Apodaca), father Antonio, mother Carmen, brother’s Fernando, Antonio Jr. and Mario.

He is survived by his children Andrea, Selina, Javier and Miranda Dorado; as well as siblings Roberto, Teresa (Sabino), Guadalupe, Maria Luisa, Laura (Jorge), Salvador (Noemi), Enrique (Petra), Guillermo, Ernesto (Colette) and countless nieces and nephews.

A private memorial is planned for this summer, where he will be laid to rest with his beloved, Juanita.
