Allen was born on July 30, 1965 in Rocky Grove a section of Franklin, Pennsylvania to his proud parents, John & Darlene Douglas. Moving to California as a youngster Allen developed a love for ‘Big Wheels’ and ‘Hot Wheels’ with his cousins Greg & Steve Douglas. When his sister, Kimberly, joined the family Allen had no problem becoming her protector. He even pulled her out of a swimming pool and saved her from drowning. Entering his teens, his family moved to Washington state. Allen met his long life friend, Jim Pierce. Time nor distance did not affect their friendship. Through this friendship came the altra-fanhood for Star Trek & Star Wars. This was when Allen’s hobby for building models of spacecrafts to monsters became his joy. Having graduated from North Thurston High School in Olympia, Washington, Allen went on to work in drafting. While working on helping to design an x-ray machine for a company in Fort Collins, Colorado Allen got news his sister pending wedding. Arriving in Olympia to walk her down the aisle, Allen decided to make Washington his home again. Allen move to Copalis Beach to help his mother and step father, Bob, manage a campground. Playing ‘firepit golf’ to flying model airplanes, the beach was a fun time. During this time Allen met Debra Shay and they remained together for many years. Allen is survived by his mother, Darlene Mathieu, his sister, Kimberly Haggard, brother-in-law, Darren Haggard, niece Jalyn Haggard, nephew, Kaden Haggard. His extended survivors are aunts Patricia Cooley of Huntington Beach CA, Donna Wilson of Aberdeen, WA, Doretta Pope of Copalis Beach, WA, 1 / 2 and uncle Dennis Douglas of Huntington Beach, CA. Allen’s cousins are Sabreena Reyes, Breanna Marten, Corey Wilson, Greg Douglas, Steve Douglas, Roger Cooley, AmyGoldner, Rise Cooley, and Mike Foster. May the force go with you… peace!
